The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Warriors Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a diverse cast of characters, and a exciting storyline showcasing celestial beings, evil spirits, and sinister influences increasing in influence within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Key plot points for Episode 3 of the new season lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The latest chapter concluded with a dramatic pause and introduced the initial group of characters who will branch out from the central cast to begin their independent quest, distinct from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table includes Teor (portrayed by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Considering a large ensemble, it was evident from the beginning that keeping everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

This explains, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Warriors, Planners, and Explorers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

As described by the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who are drawn to a traditionally charged battle-oriented narrative style where peaceful solutions are rare.

Upon first impression, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might look mismatched, but the developments of the third episode show why these five characters are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the team has a clear idea where to proceed after a brutal first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose passing kicked off the story’s plot—exploited the foes for his personal gain, breaking into the secret base, striking the rogue, and taking all the magical artifacts to auction.

The antagonist then settled his liabilities and fled to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the urban center, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each adventurer has a specific drive to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, seeks retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows Timmony and warns that it is a hostile place.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having defied his family’s wishes to eliminate the fighter and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their position as important members in the powerful family could help the party access places they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor swore a unbreakable promise to The savior for his salvation and will now go with him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are wanted by the rulers that govern the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The healer betrayed the influential house and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by House Halovar.

This means them few options but to travel to the remote area in pursuit of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

From the recent installment’s post-show segment, we find out that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the other eight participants to round up the Questers and Schemers parties.

Viewers can look forward to finding out which players will be assigned to which table in the story’s last Overture episode, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
