I will dominate 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

However, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers participated in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly happening.
