Cars in German Town Discovered Covered with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Law Enforcement Confirm

Around fifty automobiles have been covered with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the German city of Hanau close to Frankfurt, as reported by police.

Cars, exterior walls and postboxes were vandalized, sometimes with prohibited symbols, they reported in a official communication.

Law enforcement state they were notified late on Wednesday evening, when a individual noticed that a automobile in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been covered with a red-colored liquid.

The liquid had been applied in the form of a Nazi symbol, they stated.

Police then discovered many other vandalized automobiles and residential walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

These symbols are illegal in Germany under regulations banning the public exhibition of Nazi-era symbols.

Police report preliminary tests suggest the fluid was most likely human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no lead as to where it came from; officials are currently not cognizant of any physical harm in association with the occurrence," they added.

Local authorities announced they were attempting "to resolve the case" and have asked to the public for tips.

A high-ranking official said the incident rendered him stunned and had to be solved quickly.

"This act strikes at the core of Hanau and reopens the trauma of the far-right attack in 2020," he stated on online, mentioning the murder of nine individuals by a shooter aiming at individuals of migrant background in five years prior.
